Motherwell says “The poetry and songs that make up this album were written between 2022 and 2024, a period of time where I had met with a significant transition spiritually and creatively - a transition which I had touched upon on Kitchen Sink Dharma – finding a grounding in myself which had for some time been missing. During the course of 2023, I lost three very good friends and also my canine companion and tutor Dennis.” The songs and poetry within, addressing subjects of loss, transformation, impermanence, addiction and rebirth.
